Interesting Week

So my week was very interesting, busy and productive.

Sunday I went to Oshkosh for Emily's, Kate's and June's birthday party. It was a blast! A nice getaway for sure. Something about watching the carefree attitude of kids. It put a smile on my face. Give them a pool full of water (even if they are swimming in their underwear lol), cake with starbursts and plenty of toys and they think its the best day ever. It was great! I have the cutest nieces and nephews in the world! A perfect day to brighten up my life! Oh, and Justin is home!!! It was good to see him after 2 months. April was glowing :)

Monday and Tuesday were pretty low key. Drinks on Monday. Watched TV with Mae on Tuesday.

Wednesday I met up with Naomi (an old friend from High school). We had dinner at The Village Green then went to Paul's Neighborhood Bar in Middleton for some drinks. After a few beers and 6 hours we finally caught up after not seeing each other for almost a year. It was great conversation! I love how we can pick up right where we left off. I hope its not another year before we see each other again!

Thursday consisted of a relaxing day off, kitty spa day, then dinner at my Dad's house. We had an amazing steak dinner with corn on the cob and baked potatoes. (Does not qualify for my healthy recipe request, but good none the less (in moderation)). After dinner we went for a walk with the dogs, thank god! Had to work some of that dinner off! I then found out that our walk had a purpose. Dumpster diving! Which did not suprise me considering my dad picks stuff off the curb all day. This time though it was Melissa. She found the jackpot and we had to go back for more. At least I got some free T-shirts out of it (clean and in plastic) and she got some scrapbooking things. Weird but fun none the less!

After dinner I went out for a few drinks with Jeremy (Stop right there, I know what you're thinking and NO!) He is a great friend who is a good listener when I need to man bash. At least he doesn't mind to an extent. LOL Poor guy! I think he just wants to get out of the house so he'll put up with anything.

Friday I got together with my "business partner" to talk more about our idea. We were very productive and really figured a lot out. I think as long as we don't go too fast it will really be amazing and successful. Now we just need a name...hmmm back in that boat again!

Friday night, dinner with Mom and Mae. Chili Lime Steak and baked potatoes. lol I'll be working those two dinners off for a while. But it was delicious! So much for that moderation comment, twice in one week?! No walk or workout today either. :( I'll get back on track.
After dinner and relaxing Tim, Mom, Mae and I went to see Julie and Julia in the Theatre. It was a pretty good movie, I think we all enjoyed it.

Aside from my busy week I have started reading Twilight. So far I'm hooked!!!

Whew, my "weekend" is over. Back to work tomorrow. We'll see what next week brings.

Kitty manicure

So I had to get Dolly some soft paws so she would stop scratching on the carpet. It was spa day for kitty. She did amazing and has not touched them once! I'm really excited she took to them so well. They sell different colors so we can have fun with her during holidays lol. I can see it now red and green nails at Xmas :)

Business

So keeping the business is out. I guess Matt would also like to keep it and wants to keep midtown techs. The name is not purchased by me so I have no control over that. I have been looking into a few other things and talking to a few other people. I am going to start my own business, it will happen. Things are just in the beginning stages but I think it will be successful!

I have thought about another Computer repair type business but there is no way I can do it on my own. I have no business partner and working while trying to do it will be very tough. I am not against doing side jobs but the actual business might be out for now.

The other idea I have is gonna have to be a secret for now. I'd rather not get the info out there without having something in place in case someone steals it! lol Who knows who is reading this :)

I'll keep you posted,
Angie
